Equissage California offers a theoretical and hands on certificate program for Equine Sports Massage Therapy. For those interested in a career as an equine healthcare professional, this intense 5 day program (equine and canine courses are offered) with 50 hours of continuing education will enable graduates to pursue their own business in equine sports massage therapy. Equissage is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider. Since 1992, Equissage has graduated more than 8,000 Equine Sports Massage Technicians, from many states and countries around the world. Many graduates work for the very top echelon of owners and trainers...both in the racing world, as well as on the show circuit. Some have been selected to work with the US Equestrian team at the Olympics, while others have worked on winners of Triple Crown Races. Equissage California was formed by the founder's understudy, Sabrina Kohoutek, who now brings this successful certification program to the West Coast in beautiful San Diego County.
