Have you ever wanted to train right next to a premier showgrounds, yet ride every day in what feels like a private barn atmosphere? Owner/Trainer Robyn Stiegler has captured the best of the showing and training worlds by operating her successful program at “The Oaks,” which is literally walking distance from the Blenheim Equisports show facility.

Citrus Hill Farms provides the highest quality training for both horse and rider in hunters, jumpers, and equitation at top levels of competition. This is accomplished through learning all aspects of horsemanship, as well as competing at Local, Regional, and Nationally Rated Horse Shows throughout the country. Robyn's philosophy is to encourage students toward success by teaching them the value of diligent work with respect for horses, while assisting them with the challenges of competition. Encouraging the love of the sport, of the horses and of reaching for success in top levels of exhibition are primary goals at Citrus Hill Farms.

Every competitor knows that part of the rigors of competition is the actual logistics of going to off-site shows. Although Citrus Hill Farms is a full service barn which takes care of these details for their clients, it is quite a refreshing change to be able to show “right next door.” The horses can remain in their regular stalls, eat and drink at home, and ready for their classes right in their own barn. This obviously decreases stress for the horses, and the clients alike. Just the convenience of being able to stay at home, yet walk to the show facility when attending some of Southern California's best competitions is reward in itself.

The showing program implemented by Robyn Steigler has seen tremendous success for its' horses and riders, particularly for Junior and younger riders. In 2009 alone, CItrus Hill students earned numerous year end Championships, Reserves and Top Ten finishes. Riders took both top honors at the 2009 OCHSA Horsemanship Medal Finals, with Erin Fry taking home the Championship and Olivia Smith earning the Reserve Champion. Robyn's daughter, Demi, went Top Ten at the ASPCA Maclay Regional Finals and the LAHJA Junior Medal Finals. Another “Steigler success story” is Savannah Dukes, who took HITS Thermal by storm, winning multiple Circuit Championships in Equitation, Novice Equitation and Pony Hunter divisions. Another promising student, Mia Viloria , claimed the Championship in the OCHSA Maiden Equitation. Citrus Hill Farms has also earned the reputation of a quality sales barn. Robyn's expertise can direct buyers in finding just the right combination of disposition, level of training, show experience and physical attributes that would complement the rider. She is also known for consignment sales of only quality hunters and jumpers. Citrus Hill has a select number of proven horses available for lease, for those students who may be in between horse ownership or are perhaps just getting started and need a year or so of competition prior to purchasing a show horse.
