MOUNTAIN BIKERS AND EQUESTRIANS
LEARNING TO SHARE THE TRAIL

Getting more out of the trail means learning more about the people we share the trail with, and about what they enjoy about the trail, and most importantly: how to safely share.

Equestrians arrive at 9:00.
10:00 am until 2:00 pm for equestrians (mountain bikers welcome, but the morning session will feature general sensory work for horses).

FREE PIZZA LUNCH FOR ALL!

Mountain bikers arrive at noon.
12:00- 2:00 for mountain bikers – together with equestrians.
RIVER VALLEY EQUESTRIAN CENTER, home of Lakeside Polo Club, has generously provided their facility. We will have a large "polo" sign at the entrance. To find it, put this 7-11 address in your GPS: 10205 Lake Jennings Rd, Lakeside CA 92040.  The 7-11 is on the corner of Lake Jennings Rd and El Monte Rd. From the 7-11, head east on El Monte Rd for about a 1/4 mile or so.  The gate will be on your left before you take the bend in the road.  (Do NOT enter via Ashwood.)

MUST RSVP TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY.
RSVP by e-mail sd.trail.alliance@gmail.com

Thanks to San Diego Mountain Bikers and San Diego Trail Alliance, and trainer Vicki Krauss, who has generously provided her skills and time. She will guide equestrians through spooky obstacles in the morning, and then in the afternoon, mountain bikers will learn about the reactions of these half-ton animals to bicycles (and backpacks, and . . .).
