CREEK HOLLOW RANCH 2008 Dressage & Sport Horse Breed Show Series. USEF/USDF/CDS/DASC. Presented By Cuddeback Trailer. We would like to extend a personal invitation to trainers, their clients, and to all individual riders to join us for the 2008 show season. Creek Hollow Ranch is a 350 acre state-of-the-art show facility nestled in the mountains of Ramona, CA. Our ranch offers the competitor a large indoor arena complete with misters, outdoor dressage court, multiple warm up rings, individual lunging areas, excellent footing, stabling, and easy trailer access plus plenty of free parking. CHR is an outstanding facility and is the perfect venue for young horses and riders. Our goal is to provide competitor’s with a relaxing environment and to make your show experience an enjoyable one. The Ultimate 5-day Camp Clinic is held during the first 2 weeks of each month. Guests will arrive on Sunday and settle in. Instruction begins on Monday and concludes on Friday. We will start each day by 9:00 AM with lunch break from 12 noon -1:30 PM and finish at 5:00 PM. Departure for guests will be by Saturday 12 noon. Participation is limited to 3 guests per group. Cost: $1250 for single room. $1000 for share loft accommodation. Price includes: Lodging for you, Breakfast each day and Mid-Morning snack with beverage, boarding for your horse which consists of a box stall with run and Bermuda Grass hay for feed. Beginning Ground Manners Workshop. “Training you for your horse” with Cindy Giannini. Does your horse make you nervous when you’re leading, grooming, bathing, or saddling? Is it hard for them to stand still during one of these times? Most of these problems can be solved with communication. LAEC presents: The Rainbow Royal Horse Show a Region 1 "A" Rated Andalusian show is now including American Saddlebred and Open Saddle Seat Equitation classes in its schedule. Rainbow Royal show is USEF "C" rated for Saddlebreds and “N” rated for Saddle Seat Equitation. The show is now a member of the Pacific Coast Horse Shows Circuit, Inc., replacing the Kickoff show on the 2008 Circuit schedule. Both Equitation and ASB classes will have a "C" rating for Pacific Coast Circuit points. Under the Angel's Wings Rescue, a not-for-profit charitable organization who saves the lives of neglected, abused and slaughter bound horses needs your help. We have a dirty job to do. On Saturday, March 29th, 2008 a group of volunteers will gather at the facility for a CLEAN UP DAY. Your help is desperately needed. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Projects Include: Cleaning, raking, moving equipment, cutting & stacking wood, removing fencing, general clean up. Items Needed: Rakes, shovels, wire & bolt cutters, chain saws, pliers, hammers, & wheelbarrows. Helpful things to bring: Leather gloves, work boots & a hat. Lunch, water and Refreshments provided. Equestrian Trails Inc., Corral 38 is sponsoring a Poker Ride to contribute to the burn recovery in our beloved Griffith Park. Please help this effort! You can have fun riding for your Poker hand, you can rent a horse locally if you are horseless, or you can just show up, buy a poker hand, try for the good prizes and enjoy a barbecue lunch with your friends. We can use volunteers to either guide rides for those coming in from outside the area, help riders and others register or donate a couple of hours at one of the tables in the Park giving out poker cards to participants.
